Valentyna Babak
Ukrainian attorney and human rights advocate specializing in international private maritime law, dispute resolution, international humanitarian law, and international human rights law. She represents individuals and companies in national disputes and participates in international arbitration proceedings.
In her practice, Valentyna handles disputes related to shipping, international trade, and the performance of commercial contracts. She also has experience working with issues of international humanitarian law and human rights protection.
Valentyna began her professional career at Rabomizo Law Firm, where she worked as a paralegal and gained practical experience in maritime law and dispute resolution. After obtaining her licence to practise law, she continued working at the firm as a attorney.
Valentyna is currently the Managing director of Rabomizo Law Firm and is involved in developing the firm’s practice, focusing on dispute resolution, international maritime law and international arbitration.

Valentyna specialises in resolving disputes related to shipping and maritime transport. She handles maritime law cases, including ship arrest and release, charter disputes, cargo claims, disputes related to maritime incidents and accidents, and advises clients on ship registration issues.
Valentyna also represents clients before the European Court of Human Rights in cases involving violations of the right to a fair trial, property rights, the right to respect for private and family life, and other fundamental rights and freedoms.
In addition to her advocacy practice, Valentyna is involved in analytical and research activities in the field of international humanitarian law and issues related to the documentation of war crimes.
